Get engaged

Dear visitor,

many of our customers give us great feedback and like our tours, guidings and speeches. Most of our efforts to document the research work and spread fresh and didactic information to you is not paid at all.

You can help us to ensure the future existence of Björn & Vildmark by both volontary work, spreading information about our work and even by donations.

New roof for the exhibition

At the moment we collect money for restoring the roof of our exhibition house. The house is approx. 400 years old and was a bride gift that was transportet from a village called Råberget during 18th century. The roof leaks water and restoring will cost aprox. €10.000:-

Volunteer 2010

For the year 2010, May to September, we would like to have a volunteer again.

We offer free accomodation and food, a giving environment, variable tasks to learn and develop your skills on. You should like nature, have a driving licence, are curious and are not afraid for new experiences or hard work.

Interested? Send us a mail via the contact-page.

Donate for school visits

To inform people of the region how to behave when encountering a bear is an important task. As we are far from the next village, all our visits in the schools of Dalarna are cost intensive. You can contribute to our travel expanses by donating.

During 2008 we were able to visit 44 schools in Dalarna thanks to the engagement of the regional nature preservation organisation and the county administration of Dalarna .

We will plan future school visits according to our economic situation.

Help the WWF

Many species on earth are endangered today. The climate is warming up. Our life circumstances change due to our lifestyle. By giving a contribution to the WWF we might preserve more species than we can today and and change the trend in nature destruction. Please click on the picture below to learn how you can help!

Reduce your environmental footprint
