Half Day Bear Excursion (ca 4 h)

The Half Day Bear Excursion introduces you in detail to the research work of the Scandinavian Brown Bear Project. By visiting our research exhibition you will learn and understand the details of the field work from our project.

Afterwards the excursion will take us out in the wild where we learn about the fascinating lifecycle of our wildlife bears and explain how to read the tracks that we find.

Did you know that the bear is the single land-living mammal that gives birth during hibernation?

By a campfire we will have a break and finally discuss in detail the probably most posed question to us:

Is the brown bear dangerous?

Of course you will have lots of opportunities to ask the guide all you want to know about the bears life and the present research.

We recommend this excursion to adults and children from at least 7 years age.

Please read in the Prepare your visit section for more information!

Price for Season 2010 is SEK 650:- per person
